While we know each practice is individual, we also acknowledge the studio is a shared space. To ensure each student has the best experience possible,
Polarity Fitness requests all students follow the guidelines and policies provided below!
REGISTERING FOR A CLASS
- Pre-registration is required using our online scheduling software. We have 14 poles that vary in height from 12 to 22 feet. Regular classes accommodate for one person per pole. Pole sharing may occasionally occur for special events.
- Clients must be 18 years of age to participate in classes at Polarity Fitness or receive parental consent.
- You are required to check in to your class reservation upon arrival.
- If the class that you would like to attend is full, you are able to join the waitlist using our online scheduling software. When a spot becomes available, you will receive an email and will be automatically added to the class. You will need to confirm your reservation using our online scheduler or respond to the email confirmation. If you are on the waitlist and are no longer able to attend class, please cancel the reservation to allow another client to move up on the waitlist or register for the class.
- Please log into your account to see your membership agreement and/or additional package terms. All contract members should ensure to read their contract carefully as the terms are non-negotiable.
- A signed waiver of liability and release is required of all students who practice at the studio. If you have not signed a release form, please fill out our digital liability form upon check in. A signed waiver of liability is also required each time that you practice.
ATTIRE, EQUIPMENT & ETTIQUITE
- Wear comfortable and binding clothes (shorts and a sports bra/tank recommended). Please practice in bare feet, socks, ballet, or jazz shoes. Heels or alternate shoes are not allowed, unless specified. The friction of skin to pole contact will enhance your class experience. Please see the class descriptions page for specific guidelines regarding attire for your class.
- Yoga Mats are REQUIRED for Yoga & Flexibility classes and optional for any other class. Your own mat will personalize your practice and is more hygienic. Bring a sweat towel for your body. Yoga blocks & Straps are provided.
- Rental Props are available for your convenience. Yoga Mats $5, Yoga Towels $3, Knee Pads $2.
- Bring your own pole grip if you have slippery or sweaty hands. We sell grip spray for $15 on site.
- Microfiber towels and alcohol spray are provided for your pole practice during class. You are responsible for cleaning your pole and floor space at the end of class.
- Refrain from wearing strongly scented perfumes or arriving with body odor. Deodorant is available onsite if needed.
- Practice on an empty stomach. It is best not to eat two hours prior to practice.
- Plan to arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled class time to store your belongings, fill water, use restroom, wash hands, check in, choose your pole/set up a yoga mat.
- Remove your shoes and jacket before entering Polarity as a form of respect for our space and to support the clean environment we maintain. You may store your belongings outside of the studio space, in our hallway lobby on provided shoe racks, hooks and cubbies. Our lobby door will be locked at the start of class. Personal belongings necessary for practice (grip, water, etc.) can be stowed in cubbies (inside the studio space).
- The lobby & studio door will be locked at the start of class!! Please be on your mat/at your pole upon class start time & refrain from going in & out of the studio during class to minimize disruptions. If you arrive late for a class and the door is locked, do not knock or interrupt the session.
- ALL late arrivals are considered a late cancel/no show and will be charged accordingly.
- You must check in for your reservation with the Instructor upon arrival. Even if you are a regular client, and we know your name ;)
- Mobile devices are not permitted in the studio. Please silence phones and leave with your belongings. Photography and videography are not allowed while class is being instructed. Open pole and private sessions require permission to record.
